LOS PATRONES VOGUE (vogue patterns).-

VPO 2728. Misses´dress. Shaped, loose-fitting shirtdress, two inches below knee or evening length, has front and back gathered into one´piece yoke, buttoned front band closing, pointed collar, inverted pleat at center front and side pleats. Topstitch trim. Full length sleeves are gathered at caps and into French cuffs with shirt sleeve plackets. With or without purchased belt.

VPO 2727. Misses´jacket, shirt and pants. Loose-fitting unlined jacket has pointed collar, band closing patch pockets, one-piece yoke and shirt sleeves. Topstitch trim. Loose-fitting shirt gathered into one-piece yoke has pointed shaped collar, band closing and full length gathered sleeves with plackets and buttoned cuffs. Topstitch trim. Wide-legged, slightly flared pants with fly closing are darted into contour buttoned waistband. Topstitch trim.

VPO 2748. Misses suit and blouse. Loose fitting, slightly shaped jacket has bias notched collar, back yoke, patch pockets, padded shoulder and full length sleeves with vents, button and buttonhole trim. Self belt holds in fullness at waistline. Slightly A-line gored skirt, two inches below knee has side zipper closing and waistband. Loose-fitting tuck-in blouse has pointed collar and front and back bodice gathered to one´piece yoke. Full length sleeves gathered into French cuffs. Self scarf ties into bow. Topstitch trim.

VOGUE PARIS ORIGINAL 2729......????

Hace un tiempo ya hablé sobre este particular, y a día de hoy, todavía estoy sin una respuesta clara sobre el posible "error" de este patrón VOGUE. El patrón, supuestamente editado en el catálogo Vogue Otono-Invierno de 1972, es autoría de YVES SAINT LAURENT. Por supuesto, el estilo del vestido es muy similar a otros de la misma colección de este diseñador, aunque tampoco he encontrado ninguna imagen que pudiera despejar esta duda. Después de comprar el primer patrón, firmado por Yves Saint Laurent, he encontrado dos copias con idéntico modelo, pero firmadas por NINA RICCI. Hoy ha llegado a mis manos la última, y lo que es mas curioso: En esta copia no figura el nombre del diseñador al pie del modelo, como es habitual, y solamente está escrita la firma de la Casa, encima de los figurines. La copia está editada en Reino-Unido, lo que se certifica en el anverso (Printed in England), y tiene detalladas dos tablas de medidas: En pulgadas y en centímetros (Ver foto del anverso). Por lo que respecta al patrón de papel y a las instrucciones, son exactamente idénticas a las otras copias.

Vestido original de Yves Saint Laurent posiblemente fechado en 1.971. En ocasiones, los errores de imprenta nos ofrecen productos muy originales y sumamente apreciados por cualquier coleccionista.

MISSES´DRESS.- Front-wrapped, step in shirtdress, mid-knee or ankle length, has semi-fitted bodice gathered to forward shoulder seams, self or contrast wide notched collar and lapels, full length sleeves gathered into self or contrast buttoned cuffs and side pleated skirt. Contrast bias sash.
