PATRÓN ABRIGO "T" (T-Coat pattern).-

Abrigo con forma de "T", de estilo recto y amplio, con canesú delantero y cuello de tira donde se incluyen los ojales de cierre delanteros. Mangas largas o mangas 3/4 con vuelta, y bolsillos en las costuras laterales.
Patrón disponible, copia exacta del modelo original trazada a mano, lista para recortar y plantear sobre el tejido. En el patrón, están incluidos los márgenes de costura de 1,5 cm. para todas las costuras de montaje, y 5 cm. para dobladillos. Incluye también el correspondiente patrón de forro. El patrón incluye tres tallas: Pequeña, mediana y grande. El modelo se puede agrandar, reducir o redibujar para obtener una talla intermedia, siguiendo las pautas marcadas en el trazado del mismo. También, y de manera fácil, se puede alargar o acortar para obtener un abrigo o una chaqueta. La dificultad del modelo es mínima.

“T”-line COAT PATTERN – “T”-shaped straight cut coat. This pattern features a front yoke and stand-up collar with in-seam buttonhole. The shoulders are wide and the sleeves are long or ¾ length with a turn-up. There are in-seam side pockets. The pattern includes 5/8” seam allowances and 2” hem allowances. The lining pattern is also included. This pattern is graded into S, M and L sizes. Larger, smaller or intermediate sizes can also be easily traced, following the guideline marks in the pattern. It can also be lengthened to a longer coat or shortened into a jacket. It doesn’t include instructions, though the pattern’s difficulty grade is minimal.

Recommended fabrics: Dupioni silk, wool crepe, flannel, cashmere, velvet, melton, etc.

PATRÓN CHAQUETA "KIMONO" (Kimono jacket pattern).-

CHAQUETA KIMONO.- Chaqueta de estilo kimono, de corte recto, con mangas japonesas de largo 3/4, terminadas con bandas del mismo tejido, cuello de tira levantado y bolsillos en las costuras laterales. Tiene cierre delantero con ojales intercalados en la costura de aplicación de la tapeta.

Algunos detalles del modelo.-

Para la confección de este modelo, he elegido un tejido de lana y cachemir, de color "avellana", muy fácil de trabajar y perfectamente adaptable al diseño. Las costura de esta chaqueta no entraña ninguna dificultad y basta con preparar adecuadamente el tejido, reforzando algunas zonas con entretela termofijable (tapeta, bandas de las mangas y dobladillos), y dar consistencia al delantero con entretela tejida.

BOLSILLOS EN LAS COSTURAS (Tutorial).

ADORNO (Couture "Ornament").-

Detalle del adorno para un vestido, confeccionado con tiras al bies de seda dupión y organza, entremezcladas.- La mayoría de las veces, las cosas más sencillas son las que tienen mejores resultados, tanto visuales como estéticos. El efecto de este adorno, se consigue simplemente cortando tiras de tejido al bies, para posteriormente unirlas desordenadamente entre sí.

Don, en su blog URBANDON, muestra un efecto parecido en este "echarpe" confeccionado con tejidos clásicos de sastrería.
